A visit to Cambridge University
Congratulations to Miss Burns, Joe, Helena, Rhys and Emma who gave a lecture at Cambridge University on ‘Teaching Evolution in Primary Schools’. The pupils explained how their ‘Talk for Learning’ lessons had improved their reasoning skills in science and presented their work on adaptation.
Honours Awards
Well done to everyone who received an Honours Award in our Celebration Assembly today.
The awards were for developing an understanding in maths and for having an enquiring mind in science.
Young Voices
Our Young Voices Choir have arrived at the Genting Arena , Birmingham. After having their lunch they have found their seats and are ready for the rehearsals and the concert tonight.
Christmas Jumper Day
We all came to school wearing our Christmas jumpers for National Christmas Jumper Day to raise money for the Save the Children Fund.

Ely Diocese Music and Science day
On Wednesday a group of children from Year 5/6 went to Ely Cathedral to take part in the ‘Songs of God & Science’ competition. For the competition the children composed a new worship song which was performed during their visit. Everyone enjoyed the day.
